The mission of Professionals Helping Homeowners is to provide important information to individuals regarding the challenges of homeownership today. The group is comprised of several professionals from the community that are truly caringe and want to assist homeowners in the Reno/Sparks area. Whether an individual is looking to purchase a home, sell a home or is facing foreclosure, the information provided by this group is meant to help everyone. By reaching out to the community in free seminars open to the public and through presentations at companies, service organizations or other various groups, our professionals are able to help individuals with their specific needs and offer free, private no-obligation consultations.

Prior to attending Oregon State University for Chemical Engineering, Daniel Bonneville spent six years in the U.S. Navy as an Aviation Electronics Technician, of which, three and a half years were in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Subsequently, Mr. Bonneville worked in Bio Tech for eleven years. Mr. Bonneville received his J.D. from Thomas Jefferson School of Law and became a member of the Nevada Bar in October 2008. Mr. Bonneville loves spending time with his eight year old son and his favorite hobby is lumberjack sports. |
Sandy has over 15 years of real estate experience and specializes in residential real estate. Most recently Sandy has helped many homeowners avoid foreclosure by negotiating short sales with the lenders and is trained as a Certified Distressed Property Expert. Sandy is also an educator, teaching for such institutions as: Truckee Meadows Community College and Kaplan Professional. Sandy always goes the extra mile for her clients. |
Dave became an Enrolled Agent (EA) in 2008 after working for the Internal Revenue Service in the Examination Division for over 30 years. During his career with the IRS, he audited and conducted tax reviews on a variety of tax returns and tax issues from simple individual returns to complex businesses returns, both Domestic and International, and was a supervisor over groups of Revenue Agents conducting examinations. Dave has extensive experience and knowledge in personal and business taxation, the inner workings of the IRS and IRS Procedures. Dave has been in business as an Enrolled Agent since retiring from the IRS in 2008 and specializes in Tax and Business Consultations, Audit and Collection Representation before the IRS and all states, and Tax Return Preparation for Federal and all states for current and all prior years. Dave is a member of the National Association of Enrolled Agents (NAEA), Northern Nevada Society of Enrolled Agents (NNSEA), and California Society of Enrolled Agents (CSEA). |

Jill has been with Consumer Credit Affiliates (CCA) for over 5 years Working with this 501(c)(3) comprehensive non-profit counseling agency, she specializes in financial literacy education, credit counseling, budget counseling, and housing counseling. Her credentials include being an accredited credit and housing counselor for the National Foundation For Credit Counseling (NFCC), an AARP qualified Reverse Mortgage counselor, NeighborWorks trained housing specialist, and a HUD trained housing professional. Prior to working at CCA, Jill spent over twenty years in the bank industry and relies heavily on her past experiences in banking to educate clients on financial issues, resolve financial hardships, and assist clients in becoming financially self-sufficient. |

Louise Peña has a unique perspective with regards to Association Management due to her experience not only her three years as a Community Manager but her years of experience as a Board Member. Louise has held the positions of President, Vice President and Secretary along with her experience as a member of the Architectural Committee. These experiences combined with her state mandated training and many hours of continuing education makes Louise an asset to any Association. |

James has lived in Nevada since 1997. He has over 10 years experience in risk management focusing on insurance, collections and cash flow performance. He currently works with many community association management companies and homeowner associations on collecting past due assessments and has a broad understanding of NRS116, NRS649 and the FDCPA as it pertains to collecting delinquent accounts. James' goal is to educate the community managers, HOA boards and homeowners alike as they all are one in the same - successful resolution can only be attained if everyone is on the same page reading from the same book. |
